Set up your shop

Fill in your Business Profile — name, address, GSTIN, FSSAI and logo — so your invoices, GST reports and website are correct.

Quick steps

  1. 1

    Open Business Profile

Go to your account menu and open Business Profile (also called account settings).

  2. 2

    Add business details

Set the legal/display name, address, phone and email. These print on your invoices.

  3. 3

    Add GSTIN (if registered)

Enter your GSTIN to enable tax invoices and GSTR-1 exports. Leave blank if you're not GST-registered.

  4. 4

    Add FSSAI (food businesses)

Restaurants and food shops can add their FSSAI licence number so it appears where required.

  5. 5

    Upload your logo

Add a logo — it shows on invoices, your online store and shared links.

Your Business Profile is the single source of truth for everything that carries your shop's identity: invoices, GST returns, the online store and shared links. Filling it in properly once saves corrections later.

GST-related fields — GSTIN, FSSAI, and the GST period lock — live in Business Profile, and on a multi-shop account they sit on the Main branch (they apply to the whole GSTIN, not one branch).

  • GSTIN — enables GST tax invoices and GSTR-1 exports. Without it, bills are still fine, just not tax invoices.
  • FSSAI — for food businesses; printed where required.
  • GST period lock — stops edits to bills in already-filed tax periods (see the GST guides).

Why it matters

  • Invoices pull your name, address, GSTIN and logo from here.
  • GSTR-1 exports use your GSTIN and the invoice data.
  • Your website and marketplace listing show this name, logo and contact.

Multi-shop: each branch can have its own address and contact, but the GSTIN and legal settings are set once on Main. See the Multi-shop guides.

Frequently asked

Where do I add my GST number in Storeflea?

In Business Profile (account settings). On a multi-shop account it's on the Main branch, since the GSTIN applies to the whole business. Adding it enables GST tax invoices and GSTR-1 exports.

Can I add my FSSAI licence for my restaurant?

Yes. FSSAI is a field in Business Profile, alongside GSTIN. It's meant for food businesses and appears on documents where required.

Will my logo show on invoices?

Yes. The logo you upload in Business Profile prints on invoices and also appears on your online store and shared links.
