GST reports overview
What GST outputs Storeflea gives you — tax invoices, rate-wise summaries and the GSTR-1 export — and how they flow from your everyday billing.
Everything GST in Storeflea flows from one thing: correctly-taxed bills. Get the GSTIN and product rates right, and the reports build themselves.
The outputs
Everything below lives under Settings → Reports (except the invoices, which print from billing):
- Tax invoices — every bill (once your GSTIN is set) prints as a proper GST invoice with the CGST/SGST or IGST split.
- GST summary — rate-wise totals for a quick check.
- Sales (outward) & purchase (ITC) ledgers — your outward tax and input-credit detail.
- GSTR-1 export — the full, sectioned, CA-ready return, downloadable as Excel, PDF or Word (see Export GSTR-1).
The chain, end to end
- Set GSTIN (Business Profile, Main branch).
- Give products a GST rate and HSN.
- Bill — tax computes per line, split correctly.
- Lock filed periods so numbers hold.
- Export GSTR-1 at filing time from Settings → Reports.
Because each step feeds the next, there's no separate "GST data entry" — the return is a byproduct of billing accurately.
What Storeflea does and doesn't do
- Does: compute tax, classify invoices, and produce a filing-ready GSTR-1.
- Doesn't: submit to the GST portal for you — you or your CA file using the export.
For input GST (on purchases), recording purchases with tax captures the input side; your CA reconciles it at filing.
Frequently asked
What GST reports does Storeflea provide?
Proper GST tax invoices with the CGST/SGST or IGST split, rate-wise and HSN summaries, and a full CA-ready GSTR-1 export split into B2B, B2CL, B2CS, CDNR/CDNUR, HSN and DOCS. They're all generated from your billing data.
Does Storeflea file my GST return automatically?
No. Storeflea produces a filing-ready GSTR-1 export and computes all the tax, but you or your CA submit it on the GST portal. This keeps you in control of what's filed.
