For medicines, food, cosmetics and anything perishable, you need to know which lot stock came from and when it expires. Storeflea adds a faithful batch + expiry layer that stays out of the way for items that don't need it.

Opt-in per item

Batch tracking is per product — switch it on only for items that need lots and expiry. Everything else stays simple.

Batches flow through the system

Once on, batches are captured on purchase and then respected everywhere stock moves:

Billing — the batch to sell is picked automatically.
Production — components are consumed from the right lots.
Transfers — moving stock between shops carries the batch.

How the batch is chosen

The pick follows the item's costing method. Storeflea offers four: FIFO (oldest first), LIFO, Average Cost, and FEFO (earliest-expiry-first). For perishables choose FEFO so the soonest-to-expire lot sells first; pick one of the others when they suit the item better.
