Inventory history

See every stock movement for a product — sales, purchases, transfers, adjustments — and keep the trail even after a product is deleted.

Inventory history is the audit trail for your stock: every time a quantity changed and why. It answers "where did my stock go?" without guesswork.

What it records

Each movement is logged with its cause:

  • Sales reduce stock.
  • Purchases add stock.
  • Transfers move stock between shops.
  • Adjustments / production correct or transform stock.

History survives deletion

Even if you delete a product, its history isn't lost. Storeflea keeps the log entries and preserves the product's name on them, so a past movement still reads clearly instead of pointing at a blank. This matters for audits and for understanding old periods.

Using it

Open a product to see its movement history, or use it to reconcile a stock figure that looks off — the trail shows exactly which bill, purchase or transfer moved the quantity.

Multi-shop: history is per shop's stock, so you can see how a product moved at a specific branch.

Frequently asked

Can I see the full stock movement history of a product in Storeflea?

Yes. Inventory history logs every movement — sales, purchases, transfers and adjustments — with its cause, so you can trace exactly why a stock figure changed.

If I delete a product, do I lose its stock history?

No. Storeflea keeps the history entries even after a product is deleted, and preserves the product's name on them, so old movements remain readable for audits and past-period checks.
