Shop switcher & Main dashboard

Switch between a single branch's view and the combined Main view, so you can work in one shop or see the whole business at once.

Quick steps

  1. 1

    Find the shop switcher

Use the shop selector (usually in the header/dashboard).

  2. 2

    Pick a branch

Choose a shop to scope everything — bills, stock, reports — to that shop.

  3. 3

    Switch to Main

Select Main to see combined figures across all shops and manage business-wide settings.

  4. 4

    Work in context

Whatever you do now applies to the selected shop; Main is for the big picture.

The shop switcher is how you tell Storeflea which shop you're working in. It scopes what you see and where new records go.

Branch view

Pick a branch and everything narrows to it:

  • Billing uses that shop's series and GST identity.
  • Stock shows that shop's on-hand.
  • Dashboard and reports show that shop's numbers.
  • New records are stamped to that shop automatically.

This is the day-to-day view for staff at a location.

Main view

Switch to Main for the combined picture — total sales, dues and stock across every shop — and to manage things that belong to the whole business:

  • GSTIN and legal settings
  • Accounting (the books cover all shops)
  • Business-wide setup

Main often includes a shop picker on combined reports so you can drill from "all shops" into a single one.

Why the split matters

Scoping prevents mistakes — you won't accidentally bill from the wrong shop or read one branch's stock as another's. The switcher makes the current context obvious.

Staff typically see only the shops they're assigned to (see Staff per shop), so their switcher lists just their locations.

Frequently asked

How do I see all my shops' sales together in Storeflea?

Switch to Main using the shop switcher. Main shows combined figures across every shop — total sales, dues and stock — and usually offers a shop picker to drill into any single branch. Pick a specific shop instead to scope everything to just that location.

How does Storeflea know which shop a bill belongs to?

By the shop you've selected in the switcher. New records are stamped to the current shop automatically, and billing uses that shop's series and GST identity — so the context you pick determines where everything goes.
