Order fulfillment

Move each order through Pending → Preparing → Delivered so the kitchen and floor stay coordinated and nothing is missed.

Fulfillment is the kitchen-to-table half of Smart Ordering: turning an incoming order into food on the table, tracked so nothing slips. Each order carries a status you advance as the work happens.

Statuses keep everyone aligned

An order moves through clear stages — Pending → Preparing → Delivered (with Discarded / Failed for ones that don't complete). Updating status as you go means:

  • The kitchen knows what to cook next (Preparing).
  • The floor staff know what to carry out and mark Delivered.
  • The guest-facing view reflects progress, so a table isn't left wondering.

Live updates

Status changes are live — update it in one place and every view reflects it immediately. That real-time sync is what keeps a busy service from double-making or forgetting a dish.

Then bill

Once delivered, convert the order to a bill for payment (see Manage orders) — unless it was prepaid (paid online up front), in which case the money is already collected. The dine-in loop is: scan → order → prepare → serve → bill.

Multi-shop

Fulfillment is per shop — each branch runs its own dine-in service and sees only its tables and orders.

Keep menu availability current: if a dish runs out, editing the open order (or managing stock) prevents promising what you can't serve.

Frequently asked

How do I track dine-in orders through the kitchen in Storeflea?

Each order moves through statuses — Pending, Preparing, Delivered (with Discarded/Failed for ones that don't complete) — which you update as work progresses. Updates are live, so the kitchen, floor staff and the guest-facing view all stay in sync. Once delivered, convert a postpaid order to a bill (prepaid orders are already paid).
