Add staff
Invite team members with their own login — give each a designation, tick the exact permissions they need, assign shops, and (optionally) a salesman code.

Open Settings → Staff
Go to Settings → Staff and start a new staff invite.

Enter name and phone
Add the person's name and phone number.

Pick a designation
Choose a preset chip (Manager / Cashier) or type a custom label.

Tick their permissions
Turn on exactly the areas they should access (billing, inventory, customers, etc.). A designation preset fills a starting set you can adjust.

Assign shops & salesman code (optional)
On multi-shop, select which shops they work at; add a salesman code if you want their sales in commission reports.

Send the invite
Save to generate an invite link — the staff member opens it and sets their own password.
Your team shouldn't share your login. Invite staff so each person has their own access, scoped to exactly what they need. Staff are managed under Settings → Staff.
The invite flow
You invite a staff member (name + phone), and Storeflea generates a secure invite link. The staff member opens it and sets their own password — you never hand out a shared password. They then log in via the Staff login toggle with their phone + password.
Designation + permissions
Two things shape what a staff member can do:
- Designation — a label for their job. Pick a preset (Manager / Cashier) or type your own. A preset fills a starting set of permissions.
- Permissions — the actual access, as individual toggles (billing, inventory, customers, purchases, accounting, marketing, and more). Storeflea isn't a fixed role system — you turn on exactly the areas this person needs, so two "Cashiers" can have different access. See Roles & permissions.
Shops and salesman code
- Shops (multi-shop) — assign the specific shops they work at; they'll see only those (see Staff per shop).
- Salesman code (optional) — link the staff member to a salesman code so their sales show under their name in commission reports (see Salesman & commission).
Why invite staff
- Security — no shared password; revoke one person cleanly.
- Accountability — bills and changes trace to a person.
- Focus — staff see only what their job needs.
Owners hold every permission automatically and can reach Main (business-wide settings and accounting); everyday staff get only what you grant.

How do I give my employees access to Storeflea?
